What is your return policy?
- Most items must be returned within 15 days from the date of purchase, in original and unused condition, with original packaging, tags, with proof of purchase. Clearance sales, tech suits, and custom items (team logos, embroidery, caps, etc.) cannot be returned or exchanged. If you have any questions please feel free to email us at theswimshopde@gmail.com. Original shipping costs will not be refunded and customers are responsible for arranging shipping back to the store if in person return is unavailable.
What is the difference between Lycra and Polyester?
-Lycra (Spandex) is softer and has greater stretch capability allowing for more flexibility. However due to the rubberized elastic material Lycra tends to breakdown earlier than Polyester because the chlorine degrades the rubberized elastic material in the fabric. Polyester materials are soft and comfortable for swimwear but the material has less stretch because it uses less elastic material in the fabric, allowing it to last longer than the average Lycra suit.
What if I missed my team fitting?
-Not a problem! Come down to the shop and try on your team suit there during regular business hours. Just tell one of our customer service reps what team you swim for!
-Cannot make it into the shop but know your size? Order your suit on the website. Just type your team name in the search bar and order there!
What forms of payment do you accept at fittings?
- We accept cash, check, card, and mobile pay
I bought an item and it broke?
- If you have an issue with an item you can bring it back with your receipt. If the item has a manufactures defect we will be happy to replace the item, provided it has not been used or exposed to water.
